PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to temporarily release my husband namely Raja @ Mannan(TPDA 8635) S/o.Late Shanmugam aged about 42 years confining at Trichy Central Prison detained as a Goonda for the period of 10 days. The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondents to temporarily release the husband of the petitioner namely Raja @ Mannan(TPDA 8635) S/o.Late Shanmugam aged about 42 years who is confined at Central Prison, Trichy detained as a Goonda for the period of 10 days.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the request of the petitioner has not been considered and the representation of the petitioner has been rejected.
