This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.765 of 2018.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered an F.I.R. in Crime No.765 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C. Even though the F.I.R. was registered on 29.10.2018, so far no investigation has been conducted by the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that now the investigation is over and the respondent police will file a final report within a period of two months.

4. In the above circumstances, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.765 of 2018 and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
