PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents Nos.1 to 3 to take appropriate action as against the fourth and fifth respondents for their illegally conducting temple kodai festival dated 13.09.2018 and 14.09.2018 without any authority of law and for collecting money from the public in the name of temple committee of Sudalaimadaswamy Thirukovil situated at Manoor Village Manoor Taluk Tirunelveli District.

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take action as against the fourth and fifth respondents for their illegally conducting temple Kodai Festival. 2.The learned Government Advocate would submit that pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police has already referred the matter to the third respondent, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

namely, the Tahsildar, Manoor Taluk, Tirunelveli District and a peace committee meeting also was held during August 2018, but orders are yet to be passed by the Tahsildar. 3.Taking into consideration the subsequent development in this case, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to pass orders based on the peace committee meeting that was conducted by him between two parties within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.

No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
