ORDER

According to the petitioner, the petitioner joined B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) at Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vellimalaipattinam, Coimbatore District. Therefore, the petitioner filed an application before the respondent Bank seeking educational loan for a sum of Rs.3,30,800/- on 29.08.2015. Since the said application has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the application of the petitioner is under consideration and they will pass suitable orders.

3.In view of the above said submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the respondent bank is directed to consider his application and grant educational loan within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
