Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to extend the benefits of G.O.(MS)85 Rural Development & Panchayatraj (PA-4) Department dated 11.09.2012 and G.O.(MS)No.162 Rural Development and Panchayatraj (PA-4) Department dated 23.12.2014 to the petitioners in the light of order of the W.P.(MD) Nos.7907 & 7908 of 2013 dated 04.06.2013 and representation of the petitioners dated 28.08.2017.

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to extend the benefits of G.O.(MS)85 Rural Development & Panchayatraj (PA-4) Department dated 11.09.2012 and G.O.(MS)No.162 Rural Development and Panchayatraj (PA-4) Department dated 23.12.2017 to the petitioners in the light of order of the W.P.(MD) Nos.7907 & 7908 of 2013 dated 04.06.2013 and representation of the petitioners dated 28.08.2017.

2.Heard Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Velmurugan, learned Government Advocate and Mr.P.Gunasekaran, learned counsel, who take notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Having regard to the limited nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, the first respondent is directed to dispassionately consider the representation dated 28.08.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and file report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 28.02.2018.

4.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
