W.P(MD)No.15412 of 2021 2.The petitioner states that she applied for the B.A. English Degree Course through the Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education. Such course was for a period of three years from 20132016. On account of ill health, she could not take the exams earlier and eventually took the same in December 2019. The results thereof were initially provided only in respect of 12 subjects. She received the results for the remaining two subjects only on 20.10.2020 which is beyond the last date for applying for the arrear exams for persons who have joined before the academic year 2016-2017.
3.Mr.Mohaboob Athiff, learned counsel appearing for all the respondents accepts notice. He submits, on instructions, that the petitioner would be provided an opportunity to take the arrear exam. Such opportunity would not provided within the next week but she would be permitted to take such examination within a maximum period of four months from date. By recording the aforesaid statement of learned counsel for the respondents, W.P. (MD).No.15412 of 2021 is disposed of without any order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.(MD).No.12321 of 2021 is closed.
