In view of the limited prayer sought for and by consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the property comprised in Survey No.135/2 which originally stood in the name of the father devolved on the petitioner after his death. According to the petitioner, due to the mistake in the UDR settlement, the Survey No.135/2 was sub-divided as 135/2A and 135/2B and the names of Natarajan and Chidambaram was incorporated. In order to rectify the mistake, the petitioner had made an appeal to the respondents on 09.02.2015. The said representation has also been forwarded to the second respondent, on 20.08.2015.

3. Since the petitioner seeks for entries in the UDR settlement, the second respondent would be the appropriate authority to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 09.02.2015. Under such circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2015 and after conducting due enquiry, shall pass orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While conducting the said proceedings, the second respondent shall give due opportunity and personal hearing to the petitioner as well as Natarajan, Chidambaram and any other persons, who may be interested in the subject property.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
