The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a patta in his name in respect of the property bearing Survey No.164/2 of an extent of 3193.35 Square foot at Ward No.9, Kadaiyanallur Municipality, Krishnapuram Village, Kadaiyanallur Taluk, Tenkasi District.

2. Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned counsel for the State, accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He has produced a communication dated 31.08.2021 by which the petitioner has been informed that on account of variation in the boundaries, the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta cannot be accepted. 3.In the light of the aforesaid communication, the present Writ Petition has been rendered infructuous.

W.P.(MD)No.15454 of 2021 4.Accordingly, W.P.(MD).No.15454 of 2021 is dismissed as infructuous without any order as to costs. However, it will be open to the petitioner to challenge the communication dated 31.08.2021 in accordance with law.
