Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records of the impugned summon in C.No. 166/AC/ACGSC/MC/2020 issued by the 1st respondent dated 29.09.2020 and quash the same.

O R D E R

The instant criminal original petition has been filed to quash the summons in C.C.No.166/AC.ACGSC/MC/2020, dated 29.09.2020. 2.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that in the said summon, the petitioner was directed to appear before the first respondent on 01.10.2020 at 05.00 p.m., and the date has passed on. Therefore, contended that the present criminal original petition becomes infructuous.

3.At this juncture, when the matter was listed before this Court on 06.03.2024, this Court has ordered as follows: "The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the very Criminal Original Petition became infructuous as it only challenged the summons issued by the first respondent for hearing dated 01.10.2020. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner seek for a short accommodation.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is requested to find out whether anything survives in this matter in the background

of the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court abolishing the Land Grabbing Cell.

3.Post the matter on 08.03.2024."

4.In furtherance of the above order, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in future the presence of the petitioner is no more required in the instant case.

5.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
