O R D E R

The petitioner is a divorcee. His wife is residing separately. The petitioner has lodged a complaint on 14.04.2025, before the respondent police that the neighbor of his wife is harassing his elder daughter, who is 13 years old. This petitioner has moved this application that the respondent police has not enquired into his complaint dated 14.04.2025.

2.Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that it is the petitioner, who has unnecessarily created the problem. They have treated the petitioner's complaint in CSR No.122 of 2025 and enquired the petitioner, his wife and also the petitioner's elder daughter. According to the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner's elder daughter has made a complaint as against this petitioner that he is unnecessarily creating problem, in order to defame her. Since the enquiry reveals that it is a false complaint, they have closed the same on 15.04.2025. The learned Government Advocate has also produced a copy of the enquiry report in CSR No.122 of 2025, dated 15.04.2025. 2/5

3.This Court considered the rival submissions made and also perused the materials placed on record.

4.The petitioner has lodged a complaint that this petitioner's elder daughter, who is with his wife is being harassed by the third respondent. The respondent police has conducted an enquiry and has also submitted a report that there is no such harassment and it has also been confirmed by the petitioner's elder daughter herself, by her statement. Therefore, the respondent police has closed the enquiry on 15.04.2025. 5.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to pass any orders in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a direction to the respondent police to furnish a copy of the closure report in CSR No.122 of 2025, dated 15.04.2025 to the petitioner, enabling him to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
