NO.7621 OF 2025:- Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS to direct the learned Special Court for (SC/ST (POA) Act Cases), Theni to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender in connection with Crime No.123 of 2025, on the file of the second respondent police ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R. Venkateswaran, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.A.S. Abul Kalaam Azad For R1 & R2, Government Advocat(Criminal Side), this Court made the following order:

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking extension of time granted in Crl.OP(MD) No.7621 of 2025, dated 25.04.2025, to surrender before the Special Court.

2.While ordering Crl.OP(MD) No.7621 of 2025, this Court, directed the petitioner to surrender before the concerned jurisdictional Court, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is some delay in getting the order copy and therefore, he could not surrender before the Special Court. Hence, he seeks extension of time.

4.In view of the above, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and a further period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, is granted to the petitioner to surrender before the Special Court.
