Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose the application No.G4-E-1618677 dated 19.12.2023 in the light of proceeding in Na.Ka.Aa2/14692/2022 dated 02.01.2024 issued by the 2nd respondent pursuant to application dated 15.12.2023 submitted by the writ petitioner for cancelling the Patta issued illegally in respect of lands in Survey No.999/9 situated at Chollapuram Panchayat, Rajapalayam Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District within the time limit fixed by this Court. ORDER
Heard the learned counsel the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Government Advocate for the fifth respondent.
2.The third respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The third respondent shall put the 2/4
interested persons, if any, including the fifth respondent on notice before passing final order. It is open to the third respondent to pass order one way or the other.
3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
