..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2017 and post the petitioner as Administrative Supervisor at the Executive Engineer Urban, Tirunelveli Office by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2017 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner, who was working as Administrative Supervisor at the office of Executive Engineer Urban, Tirunelveli, had been transferred to the office of the Executive Engineer, Tuticorin by Office Memo No.CE/D/TIN/Steno/D.66/2017 dated 05.08.2017. Before filing of the Writ Petition, the petitioner has made a representation dated 27.11.2017 for re-transferring to the post of Administrative Supervisor at the office of the Executive Engineer Urban, Tirunelveli and the same is still pending and the Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the said representation. 2.Heard Mr.S.C.Herold Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. G.Kasinatha Durai, learned counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

admission stage itself.

3.Having regard to the limited nature of relief sought by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the first respondent to dispassionately consider the representation dated 27.11.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.01.2018. 4.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
