Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd Respondent to give permission for conducting Arulmigu Sree Muthu Mariyamman Temple Thiruvizha (mUs;kpF _ Kj;J khhpak;kd; Bfhtpy; jpUtpHh) procession to be held from the temple to Old Mand through Ambedkar Street, Thuraiyur to Sellipalayam Highways and return on the same route from 11.07.2016 to 14.07.2016 in Ambedkar Nagar, Sellipalayam Village, Thuraiyur Taluka, Trichy District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2016, within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd Respondent to give permission for conducting Arulmigu Sree Muthu Mariyamman Temple Thiruvizha (mUs;kpF _ Kj;J khhpak;kd; Bfhtpy; jpUtpHh) procession to be held from the temple to Old Mand through Ambedkar Street, Thuraiyur to Sellipalayam Highways and return on the same route from 11.07.2016 to 14.07.2016 in Ambedkar Nagar, Sellipalayam Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2016, within a time frame.

2. Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the procession is being conducted by the villagers regularly during the above said festival period. He would further submit that the representation given to the 2nd respondent was not considered sofar.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that a Peace Committee Meeting has been convened and the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2016 would be considered subject to the result of the Peace Committee Meeting.
6. Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2016, subject to the result of the Peace Committee Meeting and pass appropriate orders on merits and as per law on or before 09.07.2016, as the procession is scheduled to be held from 11.07.2016 to 14.07.2016.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
