ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner's wife and the third respondent, who is none other than the brother-in-law of the petitioner and a partition suit is also pending before the learned District Munsif, Kovilpatti between them. Pending suit, at the instigation of the third respondent, the second respondent is directing the petitioner to vacate the property in question and also harassing the petitioner and his wife. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, would submit that no petition enquiry is pending against the petitioner. He would further submit that the second respondent has not harassed the petitioner nor intent to harass her.

4. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded. Considering the fact that the no case or no petition is pending against the petitioner, the second respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

police is directed not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
