O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents herein to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's land bearing S.No.147/2B and 147/2C of an extent of 77 cents (0.31.0 Hectares) and 1 Acre 60 cents (0.65.0. Hectares) respectively situated in Akkiyampatti Village, Nattarpatti Panchayat, Marungapuri Union, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the payment made through Challan No.7734, dated 06.08.2017 along with the representation given by in person.

2. Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted a representation dated 06.08.2017 along with challan to the concerned authority for survey and demarcation of the property in question. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

4. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the application/representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2017 and pass suitable orders regarding survey and demarcation of the property, of course, on payment of necessary fee by the petitioner, if not already paid, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
