ORDER

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to survey his property comprised in T.S.No.68 in Block No.22, Ward C, Thirumangalam Town, Madurai District, by considering his representation dated 09.10.2024.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.V.N.Arjun, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property under a registered sale deed dated 02.05.2001 and the town survey register also stands in his name. He filed an online application on 04.09.2024 seeking survey of the property. The same has not been considered. Hence, he submitted a representation before the third respondent seeking survey of the property along with e-challan on 09.10.2024. The same has also not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not produced the acknowledgment for the online application. If the same is produced before the third respondent, his request for survey will be considered. 5.In view of the said submission made by the learned additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the petitioner herein is directed to produce the acknowledgment for the online application before the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy the order. On such production of acknowledgment, the third respondent shall consider the application of the petitioner for survey of the property and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the acknowledgment, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 06.06.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No
