This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to issue birth certificate showing the correct name of the petitioner's daughter as S.Ragitha D/o.Srinivasan, on the basis of the Gazette Notification dated 28.12.2016. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer, who is now competent to issue appropriate orders. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer for the above said relief.
