O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter namely, Shreeja, aged about 18 years, daughter of Pitchaikannan before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Shreeja was studying 1st year B.B.A, in Bishop Heeper College at Trichy and from 11.10.2020, she is found missing In this regard, a complaint was given to the second respondent, which was also registered in C.S.R.No.472/2020. Since no action was taken by the respondent police, the present petition has been filed.

3.It is represented by Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the father of the third respondent filed HCP (MD)No.877 of 2020 seeking a direction to the respondents to produce his son before this Court and set him at liberty and the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.937 of 2020 petition was disposed of recording his statement that the third respondent's son Shanmuganadhan eloped with one Shreeja, who is the detenue in this case and they appeared before the All Women Police Station, Thanjavur, seeking police protection. He would further submit that now they appeared before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam on 28.10.2020 seeking police protection for their life.

4.Therefore, in the light of the above fact, this Court is of the opinion that no further adjudication is required. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
