O R D E R

The petitioner got married to the respondent on 22.02.2007 at Sivakasi. The relationship between them appears to have come under strain. The respondent filed H.M.O.P.No.209 of 2018 before the Family Court, Madurai for divorce. The petitioner/wife is based in Sivakasi. It is difficult for the petitioner to come to Madurai and contest the proceedings. Therefore, this Transfer Civil Miscellaenous Petition has been filed for transfer of the case.

2. Heard Mr.S.Premkumar, appearing for Mr.J.Parthasarathy, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent/husband, who would oppose the prayer made in this petition.

3. I am of the view that since the petitioner is a woman and she is based in Sivakasi, it is just and proper to transfer H.M.O.P filed by the respondent herein. In this view of the matter, this Court withdraws H.M.O.P.No.209 of 2018 from the file of the Family Court, Madurai and transfers the same to the file of the Sub Court, Sivakasi.
