This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai, to expedite the trial and to dispose the C.C.No.46 of 2020.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today (ie., 21.07.2022), the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that in this case the copies have been furnished to the accused and the case is posted for framing of charges on 03.08.2022. 4.On perusal of the materials available on records, it is seen that the petitioners are accused No.1 and 2 in C.C.No.46 of 2020 and the case was posted for appearance on 22.04.2022 and on 20.07.2022, the petitioners have appeared and received the copies and thereafter, the case is posted for framing of charges on 03.08.2022.

5.Recording the same, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Devakottai, is hereby directed to dispose the case in C.C.No.46 of 2020, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
