ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Field Assistant (Trainee) Under Priority Category (Inter Caste Marriage) by considering his Marriage Registration Certificate.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though he produced the Inter caste marriage certificate to the authorities, his candidature for appointment to the post of Field Assistant (Trainee), under priority category, has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the grievance of the petitioner would be dealt with on merits.

4.Despite opportunity given, no counter affidavit has been filed. Hence, this Court deems it fit to issue directions by considering the petitioner's submission.

5.Under these circumstances, the claim of the petitioner be considered, based on the Marriage Registration Certificate produced by him and necessary orders be passed, by the respondents, on merits and as per law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such an exercise shall be done, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
