This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner's wife, C.S.R. No.382 of 2024 has been assigned, in which, enquiry was conducted and the same is pending from 22.06.2024.
3.Recording the said submission, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police and co-operate for the enquiry. The respondent police shall refer the matter to the Social Welfare Officer concerned and find out the possibility 2/4
for an amicable settlement between the parties. The petitioner shall not be harassed during the course of enquiry.
