O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.O.P.No.12 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Palani.

2. The petitioners are the in-laws of the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have been unnecessarily dragged in the proceedings and no relief has been sought for against the petitioners. He would further submit that insofar as the second and third petitioners are concerned, there is no serious allegation made against them in the petition.

4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it fit to direct the Court below to dispose of the petition within a time frame. The D.V.O.P. is of the year 2017. The Court below is directed to dispose of the D.V.O.P.No.12 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners shall be represented by a counsel before the Court below and unless and otherwise the appearance of the petitioners is required, their presence need not be insisted by the Court below. The husband of the respondent shall be present before the Court below during every hearing date. The petitioners are entitled to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

raise all the grounds that have been raised in this petition and the Court below shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
