O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 14.10.2020.
2. The petitioner seeks police protection as he anticipates harm at the hands of the respondents 3 to 7. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 14.10.2020, the third respondent police has issued CSR No.290 of 2020 and thereafter no action has been taken. Subsequently, another complaint has been sent to the 1st respondent on 21.10.2020. So far, no action has been taken against those complaints. Hence, the present petition. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's complaints and give police protection, if it is necessary.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's complaints. If necessary, the respondent police is directed to give police protection to the petitioner. If it is found that police protection is not necessary, based on the petitioner's complaint, the representation shall be rejected and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner so that he can work out his rights in the manner known to law.
6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
