JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The grievance of the respondents 1 to 3 herein /writ petitioners before the Writ Court was that they should be extended with the special honour during the Vaigasi festival for the year 2024 in Arulmigu Sri Durgai Amman in Mettu Neerathan, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District. 2.

It is now brought to our notice that there were peace committee meetings held and ultimately, the Vaigasi festival was also held in the third week of June 2024. As such, the cause of action that persisted in the writ Page No.2 of 4

petition has become infructuous, in view of the conduct of the festival and hence, no effective orders can be passed in this writ appeal. 3.
