O R D E R

During the pendency of the writ petition, it appears that the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, by his proceedings dated 19.09.2018, has directed the Joint Commissioner to examine the request made by the petitioner temple for renovation of the temple and take appropriate steps in terms of the provisions of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act.

2. In view of the direction issued by the first respondent to the second respondent, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition and therefore, the same is closed. The second respondent is directed to examine the request and pass appropriate orders as per the directions of the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
