This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.45 of 2017 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent.
3. Perused the materials placed on record.
4. Taking into consideration the nature of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai to dispose of the case in C.C.No.45 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
