ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to reconvey the land acquired from the petitioner in 2010 for the Tsunami Housing Scheme, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2023, within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, her land was acquired in 2010 for the Tsunami Housing Scheme. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 21.04.2023 requesting reconveyance of the acquired land. As the respondents have not acted on the representation, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider her representation and reconvey the land within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 21.04.2023 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.04.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
