O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take action on the strength of the petitioner's complaint dated 14.10.2020 in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the Maruti Swift Dzire Car bearing Registration No.TN-76-AA-6086. Be that as it may, one Anbarasan approached the petitioner and stated that by renting out the Car, he could get a sum of Rs.18,000/- as monthly profit, for which, the petitioner has given his R.C. Book to the said Anbarasan. Thereafter, the said Anbarasan failed to do the same. In this circumstances, on 13.10.2020 when the petitioner contacted the said Anbarasan and asked him to return back the Car, for which, the said Anbarasan along with other accused persons, threatened the petitioner with dire consequences. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint dated 14.10.2020 to the second respondent seeking to take action against them. So far, no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that if the petitioner co-operates for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.15600 of 2020 enquiry, then the respondents /police would be able to pursue the complaint of the petitioner dated 14.10.2020. 4.Considering the submissions made on either side, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondents/police and furnish the particulars required by the respondents and the respondents are directed to dispose of the petitioner's complaint dated 14.10.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter and communicate the result to the petitioner.
5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
