Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the first respondent to monitor and supervise the investigation on the file of the second respondent in Crime No.43 of 2021 dated 10.02.2021 and file a Final Report within stipulated time by this Court.

ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the first respondent to monitor and supervise the investigation on the file of the second respondent in Crime No.43 of 2021 dated 10.02.2021 and file a Final Report within stipulated time by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the father of the deceased in Crime No.43 of 2021, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,341,294(b), 302 IPC on 10.02.2021. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of five months, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation has been completed and Final Report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur and the same was taken on file in PRC No.29 of 2021 by the concerned Magistrate and the next date of hearing is 06.09.2021 for the appearance of the accused persons. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.12493 of 2021 4.Since Final Report was filed and it was taken on file by the concerned Magistrate, nothing survives for further direction in this petition. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
