Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 7(1)(a) of Criminal Law Amendment Act, 2005 and Sections 143, 188 and 153A IPC, in Crime No.286 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. This Court dismissed the earlier anticipatory bail applications of the petitioner after viewing the video clippings, in which, the petitioner is seen delivering a highly provocative speech. The petitioner has moved this Court for the third time.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a fifty year old women and that she is not having any bad antecedents. He has also pointed out that the petitioner's daughter, namely, Dhanalakshmi, is nine months pregnant. The Counsel also filed an affidavit of undertaking given by the petitioner. The petitioner has appeared in person before me. She has stated that she has realized her mistake and that she would not indulge in similar acts in future. Since the petitioner has realized her mistake, this Court is of the view that no purpose will be served in keeping the First Information Report alive. Of course, this Court is not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
quashing the First Information Report, because the offence does stand made out. But, since the petitioner is a women and a mother and she has also realized her mistake, the proceedings stand closed, in view of the admonition given by this Court.
