ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to carry out the survey of land in survey Nos.131/5A and 131/5B situated at Rajagiri Village, Viralimalai Taluk, by considering his application dated 29.04.2025, seeking survey of the land.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.K.Vigneshkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. According to the petitioner, he purchased the above land under the registered sale deed dated 28.09.2022 and he submitted an application before the respondents on 29.04.2025, seeking survey of the land purchased by him.
5. It is seen from the acknowledgement in the typed set of paper that the petitioner has also paid necessary survey charges. However, the request of the petitioner for survey of the land has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
6. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the application for survey of the properties submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion and merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 29.04.2025 in application No.2025/0123/22/009095 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.
8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
