Pending the writ petition, the petitioner was granted liberty to participate in the auction scheduled to be held on 14.12.2017 and the confirmation of the auction alone came to be stayed by this court on 12.12.2017.
2.Pursuant to the interim order of this Court, it is now submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents that the petitioner had not participated in the auction and subsequently, a third party has been declared as successful bidder and he has also deposited a sum of Rs.5.5 lakhs.

3.The present writ petition is not related to the lease period for which the writ petitioner has sought extension of time, since he alleges that he is not able to run the Tea shop for the considerable time.
4. In my view, there is no infirmity in the present impugned order and since the auction has already been held, and a third party interest has been created, there is no need to consider the petitioner's request at this stage. Hence the present writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
