This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to implement the order passed by the second respondent dated 27.06.2019 and to give necessary protection.

2. According to the petitioner, in respect of conducting a festival to one Arulmighu Bathrakali Amman Thirukovil, Perungudi Village, Thirupparankundram Taluk, a Peace Committee Meeting was conducted by the Tahsildar and the parties are agreed by the terms and conditions. But, it was not implemented by the fourth respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that there is a dispute regarding putting up of certain names in epigraph and the Tahasildar passed an order to remove five names. Subsequently, the matter was referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer. Since placing of certain names in epigraph is creating a problem in that area, the Revenue Divisional Officer passed an order to remove the epigraph. Pursuant to the same, epigraph has been removed and the respondent police has also given police protection for conducting the temple festival.

4. Considering the fact that the order of the Tahsildar has been overruled by the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
