ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.259 of 2022, dated 08.06.2022 on the file of the second respondent police to some other impartial investigating agency.
2.The case of the petitioner is that in order to grab the land belongs to the petitioner, one Bangjam, who is the sister of the petitioner and her family members attacked the petitioner with deadly weapons and threatened him with dire consequences. Thereby, the petitioner made a complaint before the second respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.259 of 2022 for the offences under Section 294(b) and 323 of IPC. Thereafter, the second respondent police have not conducted the investigation in a proper manner. Hence, the present petition is filed with the above said prayer. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that it is a case and case in counter and in both cases, charge sheet will be filed in terms of Section 566(2) of the Tamil Nadu Police Standing Order within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to file a charge sheet as per Section 566(2) of the Tamil Nadu Police Standing Orders, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
