The petitioner claims to be a practicing Advocate has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, to take necessary action as against the respondents 5 & 6, who are the Inspector of Police and 2/7

the Sub Inspector of Police of Thirumangalam Town Police Station, that the petitioner has been made as a victim. 2.Today(09.01.2025), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the petitioner appeared as a party-in-person and produced a copy of the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.11891 of 2024 dated 29.07.2024.

3.Perusal of the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.11891 of 2024, dated 29.07.2024 revelas that this Court considering the either side submissions and after perusing the materials placed before this Court has noticed that the petitioner was made as an accused in Crime No.211 of 2022 on the file of the Thirumangalam Town Police Station, as against whom, this petitioner has made some allegations. The Inspector of Police, Thirumangalam Police Station has filed a final report as against this petitioner before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam in CC No.198 of 2019. This Court after taking note of the facts and 3/7

circumstances of the case, has disposed of that Criminal Original petition, which was filed by the petitioner to quash the case in CC No.198 of 2024, with a direction to the Additional Superintendent of Police, Madurai to look into the issue, the manner, in which the case in Crime No.211 of 2022 was registered and the final report was filed as against this petitioner.

4.The issue involved in this writ petition appears to be inter linked with the issue pertaining to the above case filed by the Thirumangalam Police Station. Since this Court has already issued a direction to the Additional Superintendent of police, Madurai, to look into the issue in Crime No.211 of 2022, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Additional Superintendent of Police, Madurai to enquire into the complaint of this petitioner in this writ petition along with a case in Crime No.211 of 2022. This Court has not gone into the merits of the complaint made by the petitioner in this writ petition. It is also made clear that this writ petition is disposed of considering the earlier order passed by this 4/7

Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.11891 of 2024, dated, 29.07.2024. Since the Additional Superintendent of Police has already been directed to conduct an enquiry, this Court expects the Additional Superintendent of Police to look into this issue independently, in accordance with law and without any prejudice. No costs.
