ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to issue direction to further investigate the case in Crime No.199 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent to unearth the real facts of the case and direct the first respondent to monitor the investigation by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2022 in accordance with law.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's husband and the third respondent are drivers of TNSTC; that when the bus driven by the petitioner's husband and the third respondent were plying on the Pamban Bridge, Rameswaram; the third respondent had dashed his bus against the petitioner's husband bus; that the petitioner had suffered serious injuries and has been taking treatment as inpatient in the Hospital and on the basis of the complaint lodged by the third respondent, FIR came to be registered against the petitioner's husband. He would further submit that a passenger who was coming 2/5

behind the petitioner's husband's bus has taken video of the entire incident and that the photos and videos have already been circulated to the second respondent but the same was not considered.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the investigation is pending and that the petitioner has not produced the photographs and videos as claimed by them.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to produce the photographs and videos to the second respondent.

5. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the petitioner is directed to produce the photographs and videos to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct investigation with regard to the accident and then to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3/5

6. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
