ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the third respondent to provide police protection to the petitioners for their life and limb from the respondents 4 to 6. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitiones submitted that the petitioners are having houses bearing Door Nos.7/50, 7/51 at old Survey Nos.22/4A pa, New Survey No.550/40, situated in their village of Mullipallam, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District. The respondents 4 to 6 asked the petitioners to sell that houses to them, but, the petitioners have refused the same. Therefore, on 06.07.2022 at about 7.00 a.m. the respondents 4 to 6 trespassed into the petitioners' house, abused the petitioners by using filthy language, assaulted them and also made criminal intimidation to the petitioners.
So, the petitioners gave a complaint to the respondent police on 09.07.2022, but till now, they did not take any action on the petitioners' complaint. On the other hand, the respondents 4 to 6 are attempting to murder the petitioners. Hence, the petitioners have filed this petition seeking for police protection. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the respondent police has recevied the complaint given by the petitioners and C.S.R.No.
15.07.2022 and the same is pending, since the petitioners have not co-operated for enquiry.
4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petitioners are directed to co-operate for enquiry and the second respondent police is directed to consider the petitioners' representation and take suitable action on merits, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
