O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2017 for issuance of patta in respect of land in Survey No.108/2.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. According to the petitioner, the subject mentioned property belongs to him and neither civil suit nor rival claim, whatsoever, is pending in respect of the property in question and as such, he has submitted several representations, right from the year 2015, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
seeking Patta. Since the said representations have not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.
4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the representation dated 06.11.2017, is disposed of, by the authorities, within a stipulated time limit.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the application/representation of the petitioner dated 06.11.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
