ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb with property of the petitioner and her family members based on the decree and judgment dated 28.11.2017 made in O.S.No.186 of 2011 on the file of the District Munsif, Kulithalai, Karur.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the third respondent, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.28 of 2023 against the petitioner and is pending.

3. As rightly pointed out by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner has given a representation dated 25.06.2024 seeking police protection stating that she has obtained decree from the competent civil Court.

4. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to issue written summons to the petitioner as well as to the private respondents for causing their appearance before him for enquiry and there is no question of orally summoning the parties to the police station and consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2024 by taking note of the judgment and decree passed by the competent civil Court and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
