Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2016 by granting individual patta in respect of punja land in Survey No.136/5 to an extent of 3 cents at door No.4/310, Kodikulam Part I, Vavaal Thottam, Y.Othakadai, Madurai East Taluk, Maudrai District.

The petitioners seek for a mandamus, directing the respondent to issue individual patta in respect of punja land in Survey No.136/5 to an extent of 3 cents at door No.4/310, Kodikulam Part I, Vavaal Thottam, Y.Othakadai, Madurai East Taluk, Maudrai District by considering his representation dated 01.08.2016. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far. 3.Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and therefore, this Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. However, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2016 on merits and in accordance with law also by hearing the rival parties if any.
