: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings Se.Mu.No.A2/3803/2019 dated 17.06.2019 and quash the same as illegal.

O R D E R

********* The order of transfer dated 17.06.2019 transferring the writ petitioner from Karur to Chennai, is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2.The writ petitioner was appointed as Junior Assistant on 19.07.2010 and he was promoted to the post of Assistant on 18.08.2016 and posted in the office of the State Minorities Commission, Chennai. He was transferred to the office of District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Office at Karur on 06.01.2017. Under those circumstances, once again the petitioner was transferred to State Minorities Commission, Chennai. 3.The order of transfer states that it was issued on administrative grounds. The petitioner was again though transferred in between the routine manner in the State Minorities Commission, Chennai. Probably such orders of administrative transfers are issued on need basis and for better administration. 4.This apart, the order of transfer had issued on 17.06.2019 and already 2 1⁄2 years lapsed.

If at all any grievance exist for the petitioner, it is for him to approach the competent authority for redressal. However, such administrative transfers cannot be interfered with by this Court after a lapse of 2 1⁄2 years, as the petitioner is working in the transferred place for the past more than 2 1⁄2 years. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
