Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2017 and grant permission to conduct temple festival of Arul Tharum Sree Bhadreswari Amman Kovil, Arasancode, Kanjampuram (Post), Kanyakumari District on 19.02.2017 and 20.02.2017 till 12.00 a.m. and conducting Fire Work Show on 19.02.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting temple festival and also for conducting Fire Work Show on 19.02.2017 in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 31.01.2017 a representation has been given to the respondents, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, the following order can be passed.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondents are strictly directed to look into the representation dated 31.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
