PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.265 of 2025 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : This Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.05.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 132, 351(3) of BNS and 27(1) of Arms Act in Crime No.265 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The case of the prosecution is that On 16.05.2025 at about 20.00hrs, the Special Sub-Inspector of Police Mr.Gomathi Sankar was on patrolling duty, at that time, the petitioner was in possession of one Sword. The police officials asked about the same, the petitioner threatened the police officials with dire consequence by showing the sword. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner has falsely implicated in the case. The petitioner is ready and wiling to abide by any conditions imposed by this Court. He would further submit that the petitioner is in custody from 16.05.2025 nearly 19 days. Hence, he seeks bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that this petitioner showing sword towards police officials. This petitioner is having five previous cases, out of which one case is murder case and the same was still pending. Hence, he objected to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the petitioner is having five previous cases, he is in judicial custody only from 16.05.2025 and also considering the gravity and nature of offences, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
