Respondents Prayer : This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in A1/2485/2017 MAW1 dated15.09.2017 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue her service as Mini Anganwadi Worker at Karaiyadiyur Mini Anganwadi Centre with all attendant benefits as per the order of appointment issued by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in A1/2485/2017 MAW 16 dated 09.09.2017. The petitioner was a candidate for the post of Mini Anganwadi Worker at Karaiyadiyur Mini Anganwadi Centre. She was originally favoured with an order of appointment. Thereafter, it was cancelled. Questioning the order of cancellation, this writ petition is filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for disposal, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents placing reliance on G.O.Ms.No.110, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme (SW7) Department dated 14.05.2012 submitted that the candidate should have completed 25 years of age to be eligible for being considered for the said post. But, the writ petitioner is 241/2 years of age and that therefore, her appointment was rightly cancelled on the ground that she did not possess the necessary age requirement.
3.Therefore, the order impugned in this writ petition is sustained. The writ petition is consequently dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-I) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
