ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to reimburse the medical expenses incurred by the petitioner in connection with the treatment of his health disease under the New

Health Insurance Scheme, 2014, (G.O.Ms.No.171 (Finance) Pension Department, 26.06.2014, by considering the petitioner's application dated 01.09.2017.

2.Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 and Mr.A.Shajahan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the third respondent. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that with reference to the prayer sought for in this writ petition, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 01.09.2017. But, till date no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 would submit that if the petitioner submits a representation afresh to seek his remedy before the Joint Director of Medical, Rural Health Services and Family Welfare Department, Dindigul, the same will be forwarded to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with rules, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.

In the light of the above said submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a representation afresh before the Joint Director of Medical, Rural Health Services and Family Welfare Department, Dindigul as expeditiously as possible to seek his remedy and on receipt of such representation, the Joint Director of Medical, Rural Health Services and Family Welfare Department, Dindigul, is directed to forward the same to the second respondent for considering the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with rules as expeditiously as possible.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
