By consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.
2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property comprised in Old Survey No.45 and New Town Survey Nos.32 and 33 in Ward-C, Block 10, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District. He made a representation to the respondents, seeking for certain rectification in the Revenue Records and for grant of Patta for the subject lands.

3. According to the petitioner, the Register carries the name of Mohan Ram S/o.Muthurama Iyer for Town Survey No.32 and Mr.Sivaprasath and Mr.Mahadevan for Town Survey No.33 which according to him is erroneous. Hence, he has sought for rectification of the same in the revenue records through his representation, dated 28.01.2017. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.01.2017, on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent shall conduct due enquiry while considering the petitioner's representation, after giving notice and personal hearing to the petitioner as well as Mr.Mohan Ram, Mr.Sivaprasath and Mr.Mahadevan and any other persons, who may be interested in subject lands.
5. With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
