O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to file the final report before the Court in Crime No.420 of 2017 on the file of the respondent within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he has given a complaint for the offences under Sections 279, 337 I.P.C and Section 185 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 on 08.08.2017. Based on the above said complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.420 of 2017. Even though, the case was registered in the month of August 2017, investigation yet to be completed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that the respondent police has commenced the investigation and he will complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month before the concerned Jurisdictional Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
