This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2019, for conducting Sri Pushpavana Nayagi Amman Temple festival on 13.08.2019 and 14.08.2019 and Valli
Thirumana drama function on 15.08.2019 at Sri Pushpavana Amman Temple, Sivagangai District.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that regarding conduct of festival in the above said temple, there is a dispute between two groups. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the Authorities to permit him to conduct the festival. But the representation has not been considered by the authorities concerned, hence, the present Writ Petiition has been filed. 3.Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. 4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that based on the petitioner's representation, enquiry is being conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer and the matter is now pending before him.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that already proceedings have been initiated by the Revenue Divisional Officer and the matter is now pending before him, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Revenue Divisional Officer and submitted his objections and participate in the enquiry. The Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to proceed with the enquiry and complete the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
